Ron Sarchian is a certified fitness trainer and spinning instructor with 10 years of experience and an extensive physical background. Ron played college and semi-pro football; he is an accomplished full contact karate fighter, martial artist and skydiver; and he combined all of these skills in his work as a professional stuntman.

"Exercise is the key to health, long life and happiness."

I have the best profession in the world! Yes, I am a challenging trainer. And I do expect a lot from my clients. But at the end of every session, I get to share in their pride, excitement and joy as they literally transform not just their bodies, but their entire lives through exercise and a rock-solid committment to healthy living habits.

Ron’s Training Style

Ron's is a dynamic, hands-on, realistic approach to fitness and exercise. He tailors workouts to your goals and body needs. He helps you move beyond unrealistic behaviors and blocks. And he accents his training sessions with motivational information on setting goals, eating right, exercising properly, and maintaining consistency.

Ron Believes in Cross-Training to Improve Coordination, Endurance and Overall Fitness

• He uses the techniques associated with boxing and kickboxing to help clients improve their balance, flexibility and footwork.

• He incorporates core training, heavybag work and focus mitt work to help increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance fitness.

• He applies his background as a spinning instructor and endurance cyclist by encouraging many of his clients to enhance their cardiovascular workouts with spinning and cycling due to the forgiving nature that pedaling has on hip, knee and ankle joints.

Ron On TV
Recently, Ron was invited to be a part of Bob Greene’s Discovery Health Network specials.

Greene, widely known as Oprah’s trainer, included Ron as a featured trainer in his first "Best Life" special entitled “What’s Making You Fat.”  Ron worked with “Kabin” and taught him the basics of core training with the bands and the fitness ball.

You can also see Ron on Bob Greene’s second "Best Life" special for the Discovery Health Network called “I’m Fat Again.” Ron worked in the boxing ring with “Joya” a yo-yo dieter who is once again trying to lose weight.

Record Breaking Ron
Ron is also a 4 time Guinness Book World Record Holder. A big supporter of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Ron raised money for the LAF during each Guinness Book World Record attempt. He did this in honor of his father, who died of testicular cancer at the age of 33. His record-breaking efforts have been featured by ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN and numerous radio shows, newspapers and magazines.

In addition, Ron participates in a variety of indoor and outdoor endurance cycling events each year. In March of 2007, he rode a Star Trac spin bike for 24 hours straight to raise money for the 1st Annual American Diabetes Association - Gold’s Gym Spin-a-thon.
